I. Milan Cail grew up in the tiniest village in France. They studied art history and worked as an academic in Montreal until recently. They published a number of articles on the topic of queerness and desirability, the last one being “Images of Solace: Looking beyond Violence in Cassils’s Art”, Routledge Editions. They are now putting to use all this time looking at images and obssessively collecting them to represent complex queer emotional styles as a way of self-therapy and expression. They currently live in Barcelona.
